Where raising confident, capable (and not spoiled)
kids meets money smarts.
Our Story. . .
Hi! We’re Courtney and Lauren. Welcome to The Anti-Chore Moms — we’re so glad you’re here. Like most parents, we knew how important it was to teach our kids about money and responsibility from an early age, but we struggled when it came to actually doing this- because every resource we found felt either outdated, overwhelming, or just plain unrealistic for busy families. We wanted something different — something that actually gave hands-on experience while showing our kids the concepts that we knew would prepare them to be financially confident teens and adults. So, after searching high and low and finding nothing that gave our kids real-life experience as a starting point, we created our own system — and when it worked so well for our families (two moms, six kids between us!), we knew we had to share it with you.
Enter- The Family Exchange.

You’re here because you want to give your kids all the things you didn’t have, but fear you’re spoiling them by doing so.
We get it. We felt the same. We created a solution. We got you.
The #1 worry that parents overwhelmingly report when it comes to their kids is that they will raise spoiled or entitled children- kids who expect everything without effort, don’t understand the value of money, and struggle with responsibility. You tried to talk to your kids about money but it didn't land. You tried chore charts and they just didn’t work. You’re tired of feeling like the household ATM. And you know your child is capable of so much more than checking boxes.
The Family Exchange System is a simple and realistic framework designed to teach your kids that money is earned through contribution and value creation, not entitlement. This playbook can be implemented over a weekend and gives you the step-by-step blueprint to completely transform your family's financial culture and mindsets around money.
